An Extraordinary Congress of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan passed today. A number of organisational issues were considered at the Congress.
In particular, Adham Ikramov was elected as a Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the recommendation of the President of the country.
Earlier, Adham Ikramov served as the first deputy state adviser to the President and Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President.
The Presidential Decree dated June 19 approved measures to organize the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which provides for a radical improvement of its organisational and managerial structure.
